HOOD RIVER WINTER DESTINATION PROGRAM

Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort offers discounted lift tickets to guests staying at participating Hood River area lodging properties. The lodging accommodations range from quaint bed and breakfasts to resort hotels and conference centers, offering you a wide variety of unique vacation getaways.

Destination guests purchase their lift tickets right at the lodging property. The cost is just $35 for adults, $30 for children ages 7 to 14. These are open/close tickets. While there are no block out dates, minimum stays or other restrictions, the lift tickets have to be used within the same dates as the guest lodging visit. Oregon Sno-Park Permit Meadows' parking lots require a Sno-Park permit ($4 for the day or $22 for the season) which can be purchased at the resort.
You must have a valid Sno-Park permit displayed in the windshield of your vehicle if you park in designated winter recreation parking areas (Sno-Parks) between November 1 and April 30.
Sno-Parks are located in all mountain passes of the state and in most recognized ski, snowmobile, and snow play areas. (Map of Oregon Sno-Parks).
Permits are sold at all DMV offices and by permit agents in resorts, sporting goods stores, and other retail outlets. Agents are allowed to charge a service fee for each permit they sell.
Permits are transferable from vehicle to vehicle.
Sno-Park permits issued by Washington, California and Idaho are honored in Oregon and Oregon permits are honored in those states. (However, if your vehicle has Washington plates, you must have a Washington permit to park in a winter recreation area in Washington.)
The penalty for parking in a designated area without a permit may result in a fine of $30.
