5 Simple Ways You Can “Love Your Mountain”
#1: Recycle.
Help us manage our mountain waste by keeping recyclable containers from the landfill. You’ll find a recycling receptacle next to each garbage receptacle at the resort. Recycle your aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass. No lids on these, please.
It’s that easy!
#2: Pack it Out.
Trash tossed in the parking lot often ends up on our beautiful slopes. And that just isn’t pretty. Show your love — Got trash? Pack it out! Put it in the containers located at the lifts, in the lodges or in the parking lots. Remember to recycle what you can. There are receptacles for recyclables next to the garbage.
It’s that easy!
#3: Share a Ride.
Every time you keep your vehicle off the road when going to the mountain you reduce 150 lbs of the greenhouse gases from the atmosphere that are threatening the quality and length of our ski season. Did we mention you’ll save $$ on gas too? Show your love —

#4: Drink H2 Snow!
Fill a bottle, cup or yourself with H²snow, pure mountain spring water from Mt. Hood and skip the disposable plastic bottle. Hydration stations are located throughout the lodges. Even when recycled, it’s still better to avoid using a disposable plastic bottle in the first place. Save resources, including your money- reuse.
#5: SkiGreen.
Join a growing movement of skiers and snowboarders taking action to protect the quality of our ski season. For just $2 per trip you can offset the carbon footprint of your drive to/from the mountain with a SkiGreen Offset, helping reduce the greenhouse gases that are threatening the quality and length of our ski season. offset your next trip to the mountain or your entire season now.
