SuperPipe Opens for the Season

Mt. Hood Meadows SuperPipe
Mt. Hood Meadows opened up a nice present Christmas Day - our 500 foot long in-ground SuperPipe. It's one of the only pipes in the country to be operating this early, featuring 18 foot walls and its night-lighted. Our grooming crew has been farming the available snow to amass the considerable amount of snow needed to build the SuperPipe.

Park Place now has three jumps - two tables and a step up - as we continue to build out our parks.

The new Meadows Parks web site will be launching soon. We've had some technical difficulties integrating the programming into our site which we are currently working through, but we'll have it up and operating for you shortly.

    Bravo. Looking good MHM! Gonna spend allot of time up there this week coaching Windells Holiday Camp. Excited for laps in the parks and pipe! Happy Meadow Muffin right here.

    Hey you guys should turn the buttercup cam around over to the super pipe, it would be awesome to catch random moments of people throwing down. cheers

    Meadows: We move that around depending on weather and conditions. When we face it uphill it has a tendency to ice up with even just a little wintry weather.

    Nice job on the park place hits. It is a very smooth, un-intimidating setup that gives you great distance with low risk. Perfect for your first jump line of the year. (though i am hoping to send a bit higher later in the season...)

    A machine groomed mini pipe would really hit the spot. If it was located near the super pipe it'd be a quick hit for the pipe groomer. 18' walls are pretty sweet, but its just intimidating for most people. Think about it: 10' walls with a wallride somewhere on it would be a super popular feature. Keep up the good work guys and see you wednesday!
