Friday Night Rail Jam @ Shipyard

The Friday Night Rail Jam Series will rock Shipyard this season! The series kicks off this Friday, January 28, from 6 - 8 PM. Music will set the tone for the evening, as riders of all abilities session on featured rails. The event progresses from lower levels to more advanced throughout the evening. Prizes and schwag from our sponsors will keep the vibe going.

No charge to compete - but a liability release is required which you can be downloaded for parental or legal guardian signature for those under 18. Helmet required, no inverted aerials.

Cash or prizes need to be awarded to the winners, no good snowboarders will enter a rail jam with out a prize

Meadows: Our sponsors are coming up with the prizes along with some nice schwag for the event. And we think there'll be some great snowboarders coming out for the vibe, the ride and some great action, in addition to throwing down to win prizes.

I don't think getting people to participate will be an issue. Free gear, results to give companies, and good times.

Meadows: It is all about the fun. And we'll dial it in so it gets better as the series progresses!

A rail jam needs rails. So a flat bar, a box, and a down rail maybe.

Meadows: Thanks for helping us make the event better!

Meadows: Thanks for the suggestion. We still want to use the ropetow for the Freestyle Coaching Park to help accelerate the skills of those just learning or developing new tricks.

Is there any footage up from the jam on Feb 11th? And that'd be cool if you used the rope tow for both the coaching park and the rail jam!

Meadows: We have it playing in our main photo gallery now, it will be added to this blog shortly and will have it in the Shipyard section of the interactive parks page as well.
