MLK Weekend Weather

This week's weather has been - interesting to say the least. Lots of precipitation - mostly in the form of rain or freezing rain, and high winds have affected our lift operations. Going into the weekend it looks like the winds will be settling down but we're still going to get rained on Saturday and Sunday.

Rainy Day Special

For those who come up and purchase a full price lift ticket at our lift ticket window Saturday or Sunday ($69 for adults, $39 for juniors or seniors) we'll provide a half-price voucher to come back on a midweek day in January, February, March or any day in April. This offer is for those purchasing tickets (redeeming prepurchased tickets is not included.)

Rotary Night Monday January 17

We'll still operate our lifts on our regular schedule - 9 AM - 9 PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday and even Monday with the Hood River Rotary Fundraiser scheduled Monday evening. You'll need the special $10 Rotary night ticket to ride lifts after 4 PM, even if you have a season or prepurchased ticket - as this is a special fundraising night for Rotary. You can purchase the ticket here at the mountain and use it from 2 - 9 PM Monday.

Park & Ride Runs / Weekend Programs Postponed

Park & Ride  will run all three days as scheduled. However, we are postponing our weekend youth programs both Saturday and Sunday. That affects Sno-Blasters, Trail Blazers, weekend adult, high school and college programs Saturday and Sunday. The reschedule dates are the first weekend in March.

Burton Demo Tour Stop and Am Series

The Demo Stop is on! This is a great time to demo next year's Burton products for free (liability release required with parent or legal guardian signature for those under 18). The demo tour will be presented all three days Saturday through Monday, and the Am series will be presented with a SuperPipe on Sunday and the SlopeStyle on Monday.

Safety Fair Rescheduled for Saturday, January 22

Our annual Safety Fair will be presented Saturday, January 22. You'll have a chance to win a safety messenger bag by finding our safety codesters and reciting "the Code." It's a lot of fun and great to share the message about responsibility on the slopes with everyone.

Why not make the lift tickets 1/2 price on the rain days? If people are coming up on the holiday weekend they probably can't come back on a midweek day in January, February, March or any day in April.

Meadows: Good suggestion for bad weather days. Hopeuflly that's behind us now. You should always check our web site for great deals, including special bad weather day offers.
