Parks Lost in the Blizzard Update

Well kids, you did it, all the snow dances have paid off! And we as the park staff are loving it just as much as you. Now with great snow comes great responsibility… er… I mean great rebuilding! Over the next week or so don’t be surprised if you see our parks change up a lot (and with this snow don’t be surprised if you don’t even SEE our parks).

As we get more accumulation we’ll be constantly excavating features as well as pulling some of the smaller ones to keep them from getting lost so bear with us as we get everything back to normal. All of this snow is going to allow us to make the parks even better (rumors of a 2nd line in Forest) so keep the snow dances up! In the meantime: SHRED HARD!

Here's a couple of videos produced by Adam Fleck of M-Comm. Enjoy!

It's really great to see and have multiple options of parks to ride at Meadows and I'm grateful for that. But once the parks get a rebuild, could we see some ollie on or gap to rail setups in park place and forest like in years past? It's great to see everything you guys have out, and the down flat down is fun, but I feel like the parks have been catering to the beginners a lot this year.

Can't wait to see what's in store after this storm passes.

Meadows: Thanks Nick. Crew is stoked on the new snow - after the dig out it gives them so much more to work with!

Yeah this storm will hopefully bring some more advanced jumps and rails to the parks. The crew is doing a good job this year and I'm looking forward to see what happens.

    Thanks, Vince.

Is there now enough snow for the parks in vista and cascade to begin to be built?

Meadows: We should have enough snow - the problem is building up high when we're still receiving these winter storms. The park can literally disappear overnight. We need to wait until we get spring weather patterns to commit to Cascade.
