Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort has announced lift ticket pricing for the 2012/13 season. Adult lift tickets in Off-Peak time frames hold steady at last season’s $74 price, but this season those tickets will include night skiing for an even greater value. Peak Day adult tickets will be $89. Meadows adopted the Peak Day pricing schedule to provide pricing incentives to redirect traffic from Peak Days when parking lots reach capacity (
see Peak Day Parking Initiative Blog).
The resort will feature
RFID access gates to improve the lift boarding experience for guests this season. The traditional “ticket and wicket” will be replaced with a card with an embedded RFID chip that signals the gates at each lift for access. The card can be reused or reloaded for future visits at a discount – a much more sustainable approach than the ticket which became invalid after each day’s use.
The resort will also the
Meadows Club Card for $99 – a loyalty pass that offers the 1st and 5th time free, and every 5th thereafter for free. In between the passholder is “auto-charged” either $59 or $79 on Off-Peak or Peak days respectively.

The most affordable pricing is offered to those purchasing
loyalty passes by the November 4 deadline at pricing which pays for itself usually in 7 visits or less. Meadows also offers discounted lift tickets to groups of 15 or more, to guests of select lodging properties, when packaged with special transportation, lesson and/or rental packages, through special online offers and at REI and Costco. Those deals will be announced on the
resort’s deals page.
