Early season riding is awesome! With such cold temperatures the snow is really light and feathery. Early December presents some of the best powdery conditions, and today was exceptional! Granted it's not a deep base so you need to be aware of unmarked obstacles. But there is a lot of fun to be had on the mountain. Thanks to Pierce Hodges for a great video!
Wednesday we plan on operating Shooting Star. Our lift crews performed storm recovery work Tuesday, and there is prep work that needs to be performed before it opens. But it is scheduled and we do plan on opening Star. Again - early season and unmarked obstacles. We also ask your cooperation in respecting the boundary lines - do not cross a rope line. Let's play together nicely, and have a great day on the mountain!
Lift prices will be $59 for adults ($49 for direct to lift) Wednesday, most likely for the last day. You see, Cascade was also being storm recovered and it's a possibility Wednesday (storm recovery and weather permitting), but most likely Thursday.
As always please check our snow phone (503.227.7669) or snow conditions page for the latest operational and condition updates.
See you here!
