Meadows Extends Season

While other ski areas are calling it quits, Mt. Hood Meadows is adding days to its already long season. The resort will operate daily through April 27, and has added Fridays to the schedule the first two weekends of May (May 2 - 4 and May 9 - 11). The resort will host a Season’s End Festival on Saturday May 17. Scheduled lift hours in May are 9 AM - 2 PM, which can be affected by weather.

With 117” of snow in the base area, Meadows is primed to finish out the season with spectacular spring riding conditions. Meadows has been named one of the top 10 Spring Ski Destinations according to the Ski Channel, and the resort’s Spring Park - a collaborative effort with renown park builder Snow Park Technologies has received rave reviews.

April is loaded with events (April Brings Events & Entertainment) and the resort has several spring learn to ski and snowboard specials.

What lifts will be running? I'm assuming MHX & Cascade, what about Vista? I've gone on the final weekends before and it was a madhouse due to limited lift ops. Plus, it seems like such a waste of upper terrain to not have Vista open + with the new park. Thanks.

Meadows: We are planning on running both Vista and Cascade on these extended days in May. Weather could affect that schedule, but that's the plan.

What about Heather Lift? Plans to keep opening Super Bowl into May as weather permits?

Meadows: Most likely not. Our plans would include both Cascade and Vista at this time.

Meadows: Thanks Steven! We appreciate the kind words.
