  Hood River Hops Fest

  When it comes to big beer flavor, it’s almost impossible to beat the big contribution of freshly harvested Northwest hops. Sample the taste of more than 20 Northwest craft brewers, anchor it in the middle of the nation’s only National Scenic Area, and you have the makings for the Sixth Annual Hood River Hops Fest. Coming to Hood River from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, the Hops Fest has become a fall tradition.

  Stop by the Mt. Hood Meadows booth and lets talk about the upcoming season! Perhaps you'll be able to sample our special Alpenbrew.

  Mt. Hood SnoSports Swap

  The Mt. Hood Snosport Swap is the region's best winter sports equipment and clothing event featuring thousands of new and used winter sports items being sold by both individuals and area sports stores. Equipment, clothing and accessories for all winter sports are available, including nordic and alpine skiing, and snowboarding for beginners and experts. Sporting Goods shops from around the northwest will be there to sell thousands of new and demo’d equipment items at steep discounts!
  
  Mt. Hood Meadows will be selling passes and taking photos on Friday and Saturday.

  Friday hours 5 - 9 PM
  Saturday hours 9 AM - 9 PM

  Mt. Hood SnoSports Swap

  The Mt. Hood Snosport Swap is the region's best winter sports equipment and clothing event featuring thousands of new and used winter sports items being sold by both individuals and area sports stores.   Hood River Valley Harvest Fest

  Harvest Fest will be held in outdoor festival tents on the Hood River Waterfront overlooking the Columbia River for the second year in a row. This location makes for a true Autumn festival experience with fresh fruit, artisan cheeses, wine and art galore!
  
  The Entertainment tent has expanded and is now closer to the river for expansive views of kiters and surfers playing on the water. Live music all weekend long. Full Sail beer and Naked Winery wines featured.
  
  The Kids' Zone has been expanded with a 20' climbing wall; bounce house, family gathering space; live music; face painters, etc..
  
  We have over 100 artists this year in the arts tent and an area featuring Columbia Gorge wine tasting. This is a juried show, and all art is handmade.
  
  This year, we have over a dozen fresh produce vendors and an artisan cheesemaker. Our outdoor food court features a gathering place and foods from around the world.

  Back Yard Bang

  Kick off the winter season with Salomon Snowboards and the 3rd annual rail jam in the heart of Portland's Pearl District. On October 31, 2009 Salomon Snowboards and The Art Institute of Portland will host the 3rd annual Back Yard Bang city rail jam. The best up and coming pros and ams from the Pacific NW and beyond descend upon Portland, OR for a homegrown rail jam in the backyard of The Art Institute on NW 11th and Davis.
