Work on your skiing/riding in a fun supportive environment. Participants will be grouped based on ability and the focus will be on improving your skills so you can ski/ride more confidently and in more conditions. Available to intermediate and above skiers and riders.

    Les Vaughn performs live at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort Les Vaughn will be playing in the Alpenstube on Wednesday and Thursday.

    Les has the ability to rock your soul, or cause tears to run down your cheeks, or make you laugh. all, signs of a truly wonderful performer and entertainer. Some say "he sounds more like Johnny Cash, than Johnny Cash" when performing many of the hits made famous by this country music legend. Les brings country standards, oldies, and rock and roll to the forefront and performs them in a way that is in fact, "original" and in his own style.

    Burton Demo Tour Stop at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski & Snowboard ResortEvery stop on the Demo Tour will give riders of all ages the opportunity to try the latest Burton gear at no cost. To truly understand what Burton can do to unlimit the way you see, feel and ride the mountain, you must try it yourself. There’s no better place to experience the 2010 product line than on snow. Riders must be 18 and provide a credit card and ID to demo. Minors must have a parent or guardian present with credit card and ID.

    Burton Am Series Slopestyle

    Burton Am Series at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski & Snowboard ResortThe Burton Am Series returns to Mt. Hood Meadows with a Saturday slopestyle and a Sunday Superpipe as part of the Burton Demo Tour Stop. The Am Series gives up-and-coming riders an opportunity to automatically qualify for the US Open Snowboarding Championships, March 16 - 21, 2010, in Stratton, Vermont. Saturday is the Slopestyle competition staged at the Rose City Slopestyle at Meadows.

    Acoustic Minds at Mt. Hood Meadows Sweet soul driven harmonies over tight powerful songwriting. Influences vary from deep soul filled blues to rock and jazz. Live performances are a must see for this twin fronted group.

    ULLR Promotion

    Ullr promotion at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski ResortUllr promotion in all three bar areas, with drink specials featuring Ullr. 3:30-6:30pm Saturday and Sunday Ullr reps will be in the Finish Line giving out samples, and fun Ullr Swag.

    There will also be an Ullr snowboard raffled off at 6pm on Sunday night in the Finish Line.

    Burton Am Series at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski & Snowboard ResortThe Burton Am Series returns to Mt. Hood Meadows with a Saturday slopestyle and a Sunday Superpipe as part of the Burton Demo Tour Stop.     Registration for the race is $15. Cross country ski gear is available for rent at the Nordic Center. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the race starts at 11 AM. Distance is 10K.

    Look for our Safety Codesters - there's 7 of them - each of them wears a number corresponding to the 7 rules of the Code. Fill out your safety card by reciting each rule to a codester and you'll be registered to win some great prizes ranging from safety whistles to safety messenger bags.

    Grand prize is a 10 Time Pass good for the rest of this season!

    Rotary Night Fundraiser

    The Rotary Club of Hood River presents Rotary Night at Mt. Hood Meadows to generate funds for the scholarship program.

    Request the day off, arrange for car-pooling, and go ski your heart out for just $10, and for a good cause. This is the major fundraiser for the Hood River Rotary's community service projects.

    $10 MHM lift ticket is good from 2 PM -- 9 PM (night skiing).
    No host food, beverages in the Finish Line lounge 7-10 PM.

    NOTE: This is a special fundraiser that requires the $10 lift ticket in order to ride lifts after the normal 4 PM operating schedule. Season pass holders, 10 Time Pass holders and other prepurchased Meadows tickets are valid Monday January 18 from normal lift scheduled opening times through 4 PM. If you want to board lifts after 4 PM you'll be able to purchase the $10 lift ticket from Rotary, and support the fundraiser.

    4 on the floor at Mt. Hood Meadows 4 on the Floor is a bouncy blend of bluegrass, folk, and just plain fun. These gentleman will get your foot a tapping and your fingers a snapping.

    Steeps Clinic

    Available to advanced and expert skiers and riders. These clinics are designed to improve your ability to ski steep ungroomed terrain. We will work on maintaining rhythm and flow through all terrain and conditions while exploring some fo the best known and unknown runs at the resort. Groups will be divided based on skiing / riding ability and desired terrain. This clinic is taught by our most certified and strongest skiing / riding pros. $99 Per Person.

    Intro. To Snow Shooting Photo Shop

    Dates:
    1/30; 2/27; 4/25

    Day Schedule: 
    9 AM to 11 AM: Class in session at the photo booth. Coffee and pastries and a class on the basics of mountain and snow photography.

    11 AM to 3 PM: Practical - shooting assignments on mountain, covering a range of shooting locations for action photos, also landscapes and nature.

    3 PM to 5 PM: Back in the photo booth. Sack lunch will be served. Load everyone's images from the day and display on the big screen tv. Analysis and constructive critique of everyone's work.

    Cost:
    $100 per person, includes all tutoring, a handout of basic principles covered in the class, plus coffee and snacks. Class size is limited, so call early to reserve a place.
