Jeremy Jones' Deeper Film Premiere

Follow Jeremy Jones and other top freeriders as they travel to the world's snowboarding meccas and venture past the boundaries of helicopters, snowmobiles, and lifts to explore untouched realms. Hang on tight as Jeremy faces the biggest challenges he has ever encountered in snowboarding. All night hikes, sleeping on peaks, camping 65 miles from civilization, 20 below temperatures, 10 day storms, and 20 mile days bring the adventure back into riding. Deeper puts the viewer in the athletes' boots, from the trials and tribulations to mind-boggling breakthroughs in the sport of snowboarding.

The 31st Annual Portland Ski and Snowboard Show is scheduled for November 5, 6, and 7, at the Portland Expo Center. NW Ski Club Council Ski Fair

This is a smaller, more intimate show (as compared to the Ski Fever & Snowboard Show), but a lot of ski areas and all the local ski clubs will be here. Plus, admission is free!

Midweek Sign Up and Social

Mt. Hood Meadows offers midweek transportation to the mountain Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the season. Come to this midweek social and talk to the group organizer from your neighborhood and get on the bus!

Midweek buses run weekly January and February - there are six and eight week packages available which include lift tickets, lessons, equipment rentals and of course transportation. There's also season opener trips scheduled for December.

Our friends at KEEN Footwear host the event. It's open to the public, Widmer beer and Naked Winery will be sampling their fine products.

Midweek Social Sign Up Party

Mt. Hood Meadows Midweek Ski Bus Kick Off is Wednesday November 17th, 2010 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at KEEN in the Pearl. KEEN is located at 926 NW 13th, Suite 210 Portland <MAP>The event will host fashions from Outer Limits Ski Shop at Meadows, food, and samplings from Widmer Brothers Brewing and Naked Winery. There'll also be giveaways for lift tickets and KEEN Footwear certificates.

Meadows Neighborhood Bus Organizers will be on hand to answer questions as well as our Ski School for lesson options. Meadows staff will be available for sign up's to the Midweek Program. See a map of all the different pick up locations.

Meadows has Midweek Ski Buses running the months of January and February on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
