    NASTAR

    NASTAR at Mt. Hood MeadowsWe're proud to present the first NASTAR ski and snowboard racing event! The race will be at held on Stadium, and is open to everyone. With a NASTAR dual course, there will be head to head racing fun! AJ Kitt (former US Ski Team Member and World Cup Racer) will be on hand to pacesett the event along with Pacrat NASTAR pacesetters.

    Hanel Loop Cross Country Race - 5K

    Registration for the race is $15. Cross country ski gear is available for rent at the Nordic Center. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the race starts at 11 AM. Distance is 5K.

    Intro. To Snow Shooting Photo Shop

    Dates:
    1/8; 2/6; 3/6; 4/3

    Day Schedule: 
    9 AM to 11 AM: Class in session at the photo booth. Class on the basics of mountain and snow photography.

    11 AM to 3 PM: Practical - shooting assignments on mountain, covering a range of shooting locations for action photos, also landscapes and nature.

    3 PM to 5 PM: Back in the photo booth. Load everyone's images from the day and display on the big screen tv. Analysis and constructive critique of everyone's work.

    Cost:
    $125 per person, includes all tutoring, a handout of basic principles covered in the class. Class size is limited, so call early to reserve a place.

    Steeps Clinic

    Steeps ClinicAvailable to advanced and expert skiers and riders. These clinics are designed to improve your ability to ski steep ungroomed terrain. We will work on maintaining rhythm and flow through all terrain and conditions while exploring some fo the best known and unknown runs at the resort. Groups will be divided based on skiing / riding ability and desired terrain. This clinic is taught by our most certified and strongest skiing / riding pros. $99 Per Person.

    Womens ClinicFor women and taught by our most certified and experienced female instructors. Work on your skiing/riding in a fun supportive environment. Participants will be grouped based on ability and the focus will be on improving your skills so you can ski/ride more confidently and in more conditions. Available to intermediate and above skiers and riders.

    HPC Demo Clinic

    HPC Demo Clinic at Mt. Hood MeadowsThis clinic is designed for intermediate and above skiers who are interested in trying new skis and getting coaching on modern skiing technique. Includes demos from the High Performance Center and coaching from one of our top alpine instructors. Meet at 4:15 PM in the High Performance Center to get set up with your first pair of demos. The group will be on the snow from 5-9 PM. Clinics are led by our most highly certified instructors. Making a reservation is highly recommended. We will break down the fundamentals of approach, takeoff, maneuver and landing so you can master each step before putting it all together.     Burton Am Series at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski & Snowboard ResortThe Burton Am Series returns to Mt. Hood Meadows with a Sunday superpipe and a Monday slopestyle as part of the Burton Demo Tour Stop. The Am Series gives up-and-coming riders an opportunity to automatically qualify for the US Open Snowboarding Championships.

    Rotary Club Fundraiser

    Rotary Club Fundraiser at Mt. Hood MeadowsThe Rotary Club of Hood River presents Rotary Night at Mt. Hood Meadows to generate funds for the scholarship program.

    Request the day off, arrange for car-pooling, and go ski your heart out for just $10, and for a good cause. This is the major fundraiser for the Hood River Rotary's community service projects.

    $10 MHM lift ticket is good from 2 PM - 9 PM (night skiing).

    NOTE: This is a special fundraiser that requires the $10 lift ticket in order to ride lifts after the normal 4 PM operating schedule. Season pass holders, 10 Time Pass holders and other prepurchased Meadows tickets are valid Monday, January 18 from normal lift scheduled opening times through 4 PM. If you want to board lifts after 4 PM you'll be able to purchase the $10 lift ticket from Rotary, and support the fundraiser.

    Jam on our featued rails in this progressive party in Shipyard. Music will set the tone for a fun evening of sessioning. Prizes and schwag from our sponsors will keep the vibe going.
