    Mt. Hood Meadows Film FestivalPresenting the second annual Meadows Film Festival, March 5th from 4 - 6 PM in the Vertical Restaurant & Sports Bar.

    It's a friendly competition to celebrate the beauty of our mountain, the talent of those who ski and ride here and the creativity of local film / video makers. The second annual Meadows Film Festival will showcase local talent - on the hill as well as behind the camera. We want your best effort depicting what experiencing this great mountain means to you, to your friends, to your family.

    Entertain us. Make us laugh. Make us cry. Thrill us. Most of all - have fun that's what this sport is all about. And always follow the rules of the Responsibility Code and Smart Style rules. Now - impress us!

    Oregon Cancer Ski Out

    Cancer Ski OutFive-member teams compete for prizes in a unique and fun two-day ski/snowboard event at Mt. Hood Meadows, raising money for hospice, cancer research, education and prevention programs. You don't need to be an expert to participate. All ages and abilities are invited to join in, as the race is formatted to reward consistency, rather than speed.

    Volunteer celebrity and professional coaches are on hand to coordinate teams and assist skiers with professional race tips and instructions.

    Jam on our featued rails in this progressive party in Shipyard. Music will set the tone for a fun evening of sessioning. Prizes and schwag from our sponsors will keep the vibe going. Jam set up to progress from lower level to more advanced as the evening progresses. Helmet is required - and no inverts are alowed.

    Admission is FREE but registration form is required which you can download and have a parent or legal guardian sign if you're under 18.

    Carving ClinicMt. Hood Meadows offers a variety of opportunities to focus on specific aspects of your technique. Extended sessions allow our instructors to address all the goals of participants, and lift cutting privileges guarantee plenty of runs.

    Womens ClinicFor women and taught by our most certified and experienced female instructors. Work on your skiing/riding in a fun supportive environment. Participants will be grouped based on ability and the focus will be on improving your skills so you can ski/ride more confidently and in more conditions.     Steeps Clinic

    Steeps ClinicAvailable to advanced and expert skiers and riders. These clinics are designed to improve your ability to ski steep ungroomed terrain. We will work on maintaining rhythm and flow through all terrain and conditions while exploring some fo the best known and unknown runs at the resort. Groups will be divided based on skiing / riding ability and desired terrain. This clinic is taught by our most certified and strongest skiing / riding pros. $99 Per Person.

The answer is: heartfelt, inspiring songs, and a natural, earthy sound that is accessible to many. The band resume includes: opening slots for Willie Nelson, Railroad Earth, Papa Mali, Emmitt Nershi Band, Fareed Haque Group, Head For The Hills, The Chris Berry Trio, Vince Herman and Great American Taxi, Melvin Seals, Poor Man's Whisky, Danny Barnes, Montana Slim String Band, and Pertnear Sandstone. Sugarcane is quickly becoming a well respected group among touring acts.

    Band is scheduled to play outside, on the deck. If the weather doesn't accommodate, band will play in the Vertical Restaurant.

    NW Ski & Snowboard Demo Tour

    NW Demo Tour at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski ResortCome to one demo to try out all the manufacturers in one day for free! Riders must be 18 and provide a credit card and ID to demo. Minors must have a parent or guardian present with credit card and ID. We advise arriving early as our the last event equipment was demoed out by 1 PM.

    Grand Masters Clinic

    Grand Masters ClinicThis clinic is designed for seniors who are intermediate or above skiers or riders. Our certified senior specialist instructors will show you modern techniques specifically designed to help you ski / ride more easily and efficiently so you can get the most out of your day.

    Snow Merit Badge Day

    Troops and scouts can finish the Snow Merit Badge at Mt. Hood Meadows! Troops should have a merit badge counselor. Scouts ski free in the morning, and then go into Ski School at 12:30 PM, for a 2-hr lesson, starting at 1 PM. Each scout must be able to demonstrate intermediate level for the appropriate discipline. The merit badge process takes about two hours and a valid Meadows lift ticket or pass is required.

    Kids Freestyle CampWhether preparing for an upcoming competition, or just looking to enter the park for the first time, this camp is a great way to progress your freestyle skills. The camp is open to intermediate level skiers and riders, ages 7-14.

    Holiday Kids CampOur 3-day camps are offered over Christmas Break and Spring Break, and provide kids with a great way to play on the snow! We provide alpine lessons for students ages 4 – 12, and snowboard lessons for students ages 7 – 12. Kids will be put in the same group with the same instructor for three consecutive days providing an excellent opportunity to make friends and bond with the instructor. You’ll be amazed at the progress your child can make in three days.
