    Avalanche Dogs Fundraiser

    Avalanche Dog FundraiserThe Mt. Hood Meadows avalanche dogs will be having their annual fundraiser tomorrow night (December 6th), at Double Mountain Brewery in Hood River. The night will start off around 6 PM, and the raffle will begin at 7 PM. We'll have a lot of amazing products in the raffle this year - including a Meadows season pass and day passes, a pair of Atomic skis, and much more. During and the raffle, the Shed Shakers will be playing some great music. Double Mountain will also be donating a part of the evening's proceeds to the cause!

    Come on down to Double Mountain tomorrow, get some raffle tickets, and support our avalanche dogs!

    Brew Fest

    Brewfest at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski ResortTaste some of the NW's best microbrews! We'll have several breweries sampling their microbrews from 12-6 PM. Widmer, Kona, Redhook, Full Sail, Double Mountain, Everybody's Brewery and Laurelwood Brewery are among the tasty microbrews celebrating the new of the season with us. $10 entry (21 and over) includes a glass mug and 4 chits, and extra script can be purchased at $1 pe 3oz sample. Rhythm Culture will be performing from 1-5 PM.

    Aprés Ski Entertainment: Rhythm Culture

    Rhythm Culture at Mt. Hood MeadowsBased out of Portland Oregon, and led by Byron Mercurius, of Guyana, South America, Rhythm Culture features guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and trumpet. Combining their individual influences of the Caribbean and the Americas, and using a roots reggae foundation, the band infuses blues and jazz into their brand of reggae music.

    Rhythm Culture is playing during Brew Fest, in the Vertical Performance Center.

    Midweek Social

    Midweek SocialCelebrate midweek skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, featuring the resort's midweek neighborhood bus program. Learn about midweek skiing and riding opportunities and meet others who love to ski and ride midweek at Mt. Hood Meadows. The Midweek Social will take place from 6-9 PM, on December 13th.

    We'll have pulled pork sliders and desserts for you to enjoy, and you can sample microbrews and wines. We'll also be giving away four lift day passes, and a Midweek+ Pass!

    NW Ski & Snowboard Demo Tour

    NW Demo TourThe NW Demo Tour goes from 9 AM - 2 PM, and will continue until 3 PM if there's still equipment available! Registration begins at 8:30 AM, and there are no boot demos.

    Guest Requirements: Valid credit card or debit card and valid photo ID (Meadows season pass accepted). Parent signature is required for participants 18 years and younger.
     
    Hours of Operation: Pre-registration is now open in the High Performance Center! Guests may print their liability form and secure their credit card number as collateral for the demo event now through Sunday morning. Simply visit the HPC and ask one of our friendly techs for assistance. Guests may also register for the demo on the morning of the event in the HPC from 7:30-8:30 AM. Registration ends at 2 PM, and the last demo goes out at 2pm. The event ends at 3 PM with a drawing at 3:30 PM for demo participants.
     
    Special Sale Event: Demo Participants may show their registration card to receive 20% OFF their purchase of new 2012 hard goods in the High Performance Center!

    3-Day Holiday Kids Camps at Mt. Hood MeadowsOur 3-day camps are offered over Christmas Break and Spring Break, and provide kids with a great way to play on the snow! We provide alpine lessons for students ages 4 – 12, and snowboard lessons for students ages 7 – 12. Kids will be put in the same group with the same instructor for three consecutive days providing an excellent opportunity to make friends and bond with the instructor. You’ll be amazed at the progress your child can make skiing or riding 3 straight days! More details here.

    Steeps ClinicAvailable to advanced and expert skiers and riders. These clinics are designed to improve your ability to ski steep ungroomed terrain. We will work on maintaining rhythm and flow through all terrain and conditions while exploring some of the best known and unknown runs at the resort. Groups will be divided based on skiing / riding ability and desired terrain. This clinic is taught by our most certified and strongest skiing / riding pros. $99 Per Person. More info here.

    New Year's Eve

    New Year's Eve Fireworks at Mt. Hood Meadows Ski ResortBrrring in the New Year at Mt. Hood Meadows presented by Widmer Brothers Brewing. Meadows After Dark gets a little more brilliant under bursts of fireworks! New Year's Eve buses depart around 3 PM from Portland (or the surrounding area), with lift ticket, buffet dinner and party packages.

    A scrumptious dinner buffet is served and you can party live music  from 8 to midnight (21 and over - advance purchase recommended). Fireworks burst at 10:15 PM. At midnight we'll drop balloons and have a champagne toast to the New Year!
