    Steeps Midweek Clinic

    Steeps ClinicThis clinic is designed for advanced/expert skiers and riders who want to improve their ability to ski/ride on steep terrain and in more difficult snow conditions. Groups will be divided based on ability and terrain preference so you will be skiing/riding with others of similar ability level and pace. Groups sizes will be no more than 7 and our expert coaches will give you individual coaching with the goal of improving your ability to maintain speed, rhythm, flow and control regardless of terrain or snow condition.     Mountain Photo Workshop

    Grant Myrdal Photography at Mt. Hood MeadowsWant to learn to shoot snow photos like a pro, while spending a fabulous day on the mountain? The photo workshops offered by Grant Myrdal Photography allow this unique opportunity, exclusive to Mt. Hood Meadows. Targeted specifically at snow and mountain shooting, the full day workshops which are scheduled for 1/11, 2/9, 3/8 and 4/6, equip you with the tools to create spectacular photos in all conditions.     ReRack Rail Jam Series

    ReRack Rail JamThe final ReRack Rail Jam is on Saturday, March 8th! We'll have awesome prizes from our sponsors - ReRack, Blackstrap, Windell's, USASA, Monster, Yakima, Outer Limits Sports and the High Performance Center. The rail jam will take place in Shipyard from 3 - 8 PM. Helmets are required and inverted aerials disqualify competitors.

    Registration is from 12-2 PM across from Concierge, and the Rider's Meeting starts at 3 PM in Shipyard. Come hang out! It'll be fun.

Hood Meadows, raising money for hospice, cancer research, education and prevention programs. You don't need to be an expert to participate.     OCSO Fundraising Night Pass

    Orgon Cancer Ski Out logoThe Oregon Cancer Ski Out raises money to support cancer research and hospice in Oregon. You can support these efforts and get a great deal on a night lift pass by joining us Sunday, March 9th from 3-9 PM. The regular night lift pass is $30 - but you can purchase the lift pass in advance online for just $15. Proceeds benefit the Oregon Cancer Ski Out. Ticket had to be purchased by noon on Sunday, March 9th.

    Portland Mountain Rescue Mountain Film Festival

    Portland Mountain Rescue Telluride Film FestivalFor one night only, on March 12th at the Hollywood Theater, Portland Mountain Rescue will host the Telluride Mountain Film Festival which will screen leading independent documentary films from around the world focused on outdoor adventure. Join us for a night of truly inspirational movies about the outdoors while supporting a great organization - Portland Mountain Rescue.

    Sponsored locally by The Mountain Shop, all proceeds from the event benefit Portland Mountain Rescue. The doors open at 6:45 PM, and the show starts at 7 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets available at The Mountain Shop and online here.

    Laurelwood Town ChallengeThe Laurelwood Town Challenge Series is a recreational race series designed for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, to have an opportunity to race in a Giant Slalom course. The goal of the series is to provide businesses and non-business teams the opportunity to enjoy Mt. Hood Meadows in a team-oriented, family friendly, recreational racing environment. Teams and individuals can both race in the series! (Details below.)

    It's a friendly competition to celebrate the beauty of our mountain, the talent of those who ski and ride here and the creativity of local film / video makers. The fifth annual Meadows Film Festival will showcase local talent - on the hill as well as behind the camera. We want your best effort depicting what experiencing this great mountain means to you, to your friends, to your family. As always, we'll have cash and prizes for the top finalists!

    Ski For Water

    Ski For WaterThe Ski For Water event on Saturday, March 22nd, will ensure that even more communities around the world receive one of the fundamental necessities of life: clean and safe drinking water. It's a ski-a-thon to help end the world water crisis! It's $58 for a lift day pass, and only $20 for season passholders to participate.

    You must pre-register online here. Check-in is at 8:30 AM, you'll ski from 10 AM - 2 PM, with prizes and an award ceremony at 3 PM. During the 10 AM - 2 PM time period, we'll track the total vertical feet completed. Your pledges are calculated by how many vertical feet you ski divided by 1,000.     Meadows Hole Shot

    The Hole Shot Cross Tour is a competition designed to bridge the gap between grassroots and world cup level for Snowboardcross and Skicross. The event also brings together athletes across the country to identify the top juniors in the country. Athletes 15 (SBX)/ 16 (SX) and older compete together in an open-class style event.  The top juniors will be named to U.S. Snowboarding’s and U.S. Freeskiing Project Gold, a group of the top development athletes in the country who will train together in the summer and are invited to other select projects. Athletes also qualify for Junior World Championships and World Cup events from the Hole Shot Tour.

    The course starts at the top of Daisy Bowl, goes under the Easy Rider Lift and finishes next to the Half Pipe. Come watch!

    Meadows Spring Demo Day

    NW Demo TourTest out the latest gear, for free! There's no charge to demo, but a credit card and matching ID are required. Liability releases are also required, and for those under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present to demo. Keep in mind that there are no boot demos.

    The Meadows Spring Demo Day will run from 9 AM - 1 PM. Pre-registration will be open the week prior in the HPC. Guests may also register the morning of the event in the HPC, from 7:30-8:30 AM. Registration ends at 1 PM, and the last demo goes out at 2 PM. The event ends at 3 PM with a drawing at 3:30 PM for demo participants.

    Spring Brew Fest

    Brew Fest at Mt. Hood MeadowsMt. Hood Meadows proudly presents the Spring Brew Fest! Soak in some sun on the deck and taste fantastic beers. This event is open to anyone 21+ with a valid photo ID. A $12 entrance fee gets you a logoed glass mug and 4 chits, and additional chits can be purchased for $1 each. We're doing a raffle about every 30 minutes, so there will be lots of opportunities to win a prize!

    Widmer, Kona, Double Mountain, Laurelwood, Everybody's, Full Sail, Naked Winery and Hood River Cider Works will join us.

    If the weather is not favorable, the Spring Brew Fest will take place in Vertical Restaurant.
