    Ram's Head Randonee

    Ram's Head RandoneeThe Ram's Head Randonee is a 2.44 mile long course with uphill, downhill, and boot pack sections. Randonee demos, organized by the Mountain Shop, will be available in the demo village at the start. The race starts at 10 AM, with all day festivities ending at an awards ceremony in the base area. Food and beer will be provided by Mt. Hood Meadows and Everybody's Brewing.

    Online registration is open! It's $30 to register for the Randonee online, or $40 for day of race registration, which will take place in the SnoBlaster Room from 8-9:30 AM. The entree fee also includes demos, lunch and a drink. There are five categories - Men's Open, Women's Open, Men's Masters (50 and Older), Women's Masters (50 and Older), and an all ages category. Our instructors will use the Riglet to pull your enthusiast around a course designed for fun, but giving your child the chance to balance, turn and learn some technique. It's FREE and we provide the gear.
    See the Riglet in action at THE BITE in August. Our Riglet will be outdoors on the snow - so dress warm!

    Superpark 18 Woodward Plaza Exhibition MOVED TO SUNDAY

    Mt. Hood Meadows Hosts Superpark 18

    ALERT: THIS EVENT AND THE WEBCAST HAS BEEN MOVED TO SUNDAY DUE TO WEATHER.

    Mt. Hood Meadows hosts SNOWBOARDER Magazine's Superpark 18 May 7 - 11. Superpark is an invite only event featuring the snowboarding's elite riders and park designers. While Superpark is a private, invite only event; SUNDAY a special urban street style exhibition will be presented in the base area in the Woodward Plaza (the Fun Zone). Awesomely viewable from the Sun Deck - this exhibition will allow guests to view these talented riders up close. 

    The Woodward Plaza will be filled with innovative and unique urban features that connect the mountain to the city and will test the talent's creativity and skill levels. And you'll be only a few feet from all the action!

    A DJ will perform from 11:30 to 3:00 PM providing the heart beat for the session. There will also be sponsor tents with sampling and product demonstrations to check out and enjoy. A lift pass is not required to access this exhibition so come on up and enjoy this rare chance to witness major athletes sessioning on amazing features.

    Season's End Beer & Music Fest

    Season End's Beer & Music Fest @ Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort

    Join Double Mountain Brewery in celebrating the last day of the 2014 season at Mt. Hood Meadows! Three bands are scheduled to play from 11 AM - 5 PM - The Green Neck Daredevils, The Quick & Easy Boys and The Bad Livers - on the Sun Deck!     The Hood 2 River Relay is an exciting spring time event that kicks off the summer recreational season on Mt. Hood and in the Columbia River Gorge. World renowned for its unique summer season Mt. Hood is one of only a handful of ski areas that has summer ski operations. The ability to quickly descend from the high slopes of the mountain to the low lying elevations of the Columbia River Basin near sea level provide a unique opportunity for recreational enthusiast to enjoy a multitude of sports not only in the same season but in the same day. Hood 2 River from the simple idea of how many fun recreational sports can we fit into one day. No better time of the year for this opportunity than the late springtime.

Fun is the name of the game as competitors compete in teams, pairs, or individuals to race from the high slopes of Mt. Hood down to the mighty Columbia River. Skiing, cycling, running, and kayaking through some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes anywhere the event will take your breath away both literally and figuratively!
