Portland Ski Fever and Snowboard Show

The 33rd Annual Portland Ski and Snowboard Show is scheduled for November 2, 3, and 4, at the Portland Expo Center. This year's line-up includes: ski reps with the latest gear, the Northwest's largest ski swap, exciting entertainment, and all of Portland's best major winter sports retailers with endless opportunities to save up to 70% on ski and snowboard gear!

We'll be taking pictures and issuing passes at the Meadows booth. Come stop by!

NW Ski Club Council Ski Fair

This is a smaller, more intimate show (as compared to the Ski Fever & Snowboard Show), but a lot of ski areas and all the local ski clubs will be here. Plus, admission is free!

Northwest Ski Club Council ski club members are invited to get their picture taken and pass issued.

SOS Fundraiser

Crack Grease Snowboarding presents the movie, "Fools Gold," at Clinton St. Theater. It's a fundraiser for SOS Outreach, which is a non-profit organization that provides mountain adventure-based experiences for at-risk youth. SOS Outreach is partnering with local snowboard companies, shops and resorts to have a night of entertainment, giveaways and raffles! It's $10 per person, or $5 with a good condition goggle donation.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the film starts at 8 PM.

Cross Country Ski Performance Waxing Clinic

Get ready for the ski season by attending this cross-country skiing performance waxing clinic, presented by ski technician, Carl Andersen, the Oregon Mountain Community, and Dale Peters from the Mt. Hood Meadows Nordic Center. Learn the latest waxes, tools and techniques for skate ski glide waxing, classic ski glide and kick waxing and prepping zero-type base surfaces.

Waxes and tools will be available to purchase or order at special discounted preseason prices.

Widmer Brothers Brewing Big Chill '12

It’s that time of year again! Kick off the winter snow season in style at the Big Chill ‘12, presented by Widmer Brothers Brewing.

On Friday, November 16th, join Widmer Brothers for an evening of local craft beer - including Brrr, the brewery’s winter seasonal - music, art and fashion at Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge, beginning at 9 PM.
