    3-Day Holiday Kids Camp (Day 1)

    3-Day Holiday Kids Camps at Mt. Hood MeadowsOur 3-day camps are offered over Christmas Break and Spring Break, and provide kids with a great way to play on the snow! We provide alpine lessons for students ages 4 – 12, and snowboard lessons for students ages 7 – 12. Kids will be put in the same group with the same instructor for three consecutive days providing an excellent opportunity to make friends and bond with the instructor. You’ll be amazed at the progress your child can make skiing or riding 3 straight days! More details here.

    Mountain Photo Workshop

    Grant Myrdal Photography at Mt. Hood MeadowsWant to learn to shoot snow photos like a pro, while spending a fabulous day on the mountain? The photo workshops offered by Grant Myrdal Photography allow this unique opportunity, exclusive to Mt. Hood Meadows. Targeted specifically at snow and mountain shooting, the full day workshops which are scheduled for 1/11, 2/9, 3/8 and 4/6, equip you with the tools to create spectacular photos in all conditions.     Terry Rob at Mt. Hood MeadowsAcoustic Blues with a Contemporary edge. Terry Robb is considered one of the top acoustic blues guitarists on the West Coast. He has a transitional style that ranges between country blues and early 20th century string-band music.

    Burton Mountain Festival

    Burton Mountain FestivalThe Burton Mountain Festival will be at Meadows January 18-20 bringing a full payload of product, parties and positive vibes!

    Try out the latest gear for free, jam out to some après entertainment, and introduce the kids to sideways sliding in the Riglet Park.

    The main attraction is the Burton Demo Tour -  free demo to try out all the latest Burton equipment. (Credit card and ID required. Adult or guardian signature required for liability release form for those under 18.) The Riglet Park will be presented for kids under 6 to get some turns in each day. Burton will present the Know Contest too, so sharpen up your on the slope knowledge to win great prizes. An Aprés Ski Party will also be presented Saturday from 4-8 PM in Vertical.

    ReRack Rail Jam Series

    Meadows After Dark Rail Jam SeriesThe ReRack Rail Jam Series continues on Saturday, January 18th! We'll have awesome prizes from our sponsors - ReRack, Blackstrap, Windell's, USASA, Monster, Yakima, Outer Limits Sports and the High Performance Center. The rail jam will take place in Shipyard from 3 - 8 PM. Helmets are required and inverted aerials disqualify competitors.

    Registration is from 12-2 PM across from Concierge, and the Rider's Meeting starts at 3 PM in Shipyard. The Rail Jam Series is on 12/21, 1/18, 2/8 and 3/8.

    Rotary Club Fundraiser

    Rotary Club Fundraiser at Mt. Hood MeadowsThe Rotary Club of Hood River presents Rotary Night at Mt. Hood Meadows to generate funds for the scholarship program. This is the major fundraiser for the Hood River Rotary's community service projects.

    Request the day off, arrange for car-pooling, and go ski your heart out for a good cause! Purchase a lift pass for Rotary Night for $15 or for $20 day of at the ski resort, good from 2-9 PM.


    NOTE: This is a special fundraiser that requires the special Rotary night pass in order to ride lifts after the normal 4 PM operating schedule. Season passholders, 10-time passholders and other pre-purchased Meadows passes are valid Monday, January 20th from normal lift scheduled opening times through 4 PM. If you want to board lifts after 4 PM, you'll be able to purchase the special Rotary pass and support the fundraiser.

    Safety Fair

    Safety Fair at Mt. Hood MeadowsThe event promotes and encourages responsible practices and etiquette designed to make skiers and snowboarders more aware of safety on the slopes. Essential to courteous and safe sharing of the mountain is the Responsibility Code – seven simple rules which if followed can provide an extra margin of safety on the slopes.

    The Safety Village will be set up in the base area, with prizes, giveaways, music, booths from Wentworth Subaru, Costco, and Clif Bar, and Mighty Meadows making a guest appearance for the kids. There will also be hot cocoa in the Patrol Hut, so you can stop by to see the inside of the hut, and get your questions answered. Our avalanche dogs will also be making appearances through-out the day in the Safety Village, so bring your camera!

    Activities at this year's Safety Fair also include Know the Code Games, beginner chair demonstration, LIFTSTARS education, avalanche rescue awareness, music and prizes. Come join the fun!
