Mt. Hood Meadows presents the Spring Splash – a celebration of all the good things spring brings the to mountain. Boasting a base depth of over 100 inches – one of the deepest in North America – the resort announced daily operation will continue through April 25 and has extended to weekends (Saturday & Sunday) in May, ending on the 16th.
The Spring Splash is all about corn snow, warm sunshine and the occasional midwinter-like storm common to this time of the season. It’s a fun and spectacular time on the mountain, ideal for cruising the groomers, hitting the parks and basking in the sun on the deck at the end of the day. Beginning March 20 special events, entertainment, clinics and contests will be presented weekends and holidays.
There’s also daily registration to win a trip for two to Hawaii to be given away at the Sno-Kona Pond Skim competition (must be present to win – one registration / person / day). The trip will include round trip airfare and hotel accommodations for four nights during a low season time frame, a value of up to $1800 (which could be applied to an extended stay or a higher season time frame vacation booked through All About Hawaii Travel).
