This clinic meets at 8:15 AM in the Alpenstube Loft for a continental breakfast then heads on-snow from 9 AM - 4 PM with an hour break for lunch. 3-Day Freestyle Camps
Offered over Christmas Break and Spring Break, our 3-day Freestyle Camps are a great opportunity to take your park and pipe skills to the next level. The 3-Day Freestyle Camp sessions from December 21-23, January 2-4, March 24-26 and April 4-7. $265 (Camp Only), $295 (Camp and Lift), add rental equipment for $40.
Whether preparing for an upcoming competition, or just looking to enter the park for the first time, this camp is a great way to progress your freestyle skills. The camp is open to anybody 7 to 14 who is an intermediate level skier/rider. (Intermediate level means for snowboarders that you are capable of making full turns (heel to toe, toe to heel) on most blue terrain. For skiers, it means that you are able to ski parallel on most blue terrain.)
Each three day camp includes 4 hours of coaching (10 AM - 12 PM, break for a one hour lunch, 1 PM - 3 PM) per day with a park specialized instructor. Topics covered will include, but are not limited to: jumps, half-pipe, rails and boxes, flatland, all-mountain freestyle, park safety and etiquette. Groups will be split up by age and ability. Reservations are required at least 48 hours before the first day of camp. Call 503.337.2222, ext. 1419 to reserve your space today.
Meadows Freeride Team
Our new Freeride Team is a great way for 10-15 year olds to develop their Skiing/Riding while learning teamwork, sportsmanship and a sense of community.
The Freeride Team meets every Saturday beginning January 11th through March 1st and all team members can choose from one of the following 3-day camps: December 21-23 or January 2-4.
These full day sessions of coaching will begin with groups meeting at 9:30 AM and skiing/riding until 3:30 PM with an hour lunch break. Our coaches will be focusing on improving all mountain skiing/riding skills as well as park & pipe so participants can challenge themselves with new terrain, more advanced features and harder tricks.
The team is open to skiers or riders who are strong intermediates or above in skill level. For skiers this means at minimum being able to link parallel turns and snowboarders link toe and heal side turns on all blue terrain and easy black terrain.
Groups for the team will be divided by age and ability level. Sign up online by clicking the link below. To sign up over the phone or for more information, contact our Ski & Snowboard School Sales Department at 503.337.2222, ext. 1222. Cost: $676 for full season.
