Green - Cruising the Groom (Beginner)

These lessons are designed for those who have skied at least once before and generally ski on green runs. Participants will learn to improve their balance and turning ability working towards a more parallel relationship between skis. We will divide these groups on the mountain so students are skiing with others of similar speed and terrain preference.

Blue - Exploring the Mountain (Intermediate)

These lessons are designed for skiers who spend most of their day skiing on groomed blue terrain. Participants will learn to adjust their turn shape and size to gain confidence in steeper terrain as well as to tip the skis on higher edge angles and direct more pressure to the outside ski in order to create higher performance turns. We will divide these groups on the mountain so students are skiing with others of similar speed and terrain preference.

All Mountain Freeride (Advanced / Expert)

To sign up for these lessons skiers must be able to link parallel turns consistently on easier black terrain. This lesson will focus on improving skiing skills in steeper terrain and more difficult snow conditions so participants can explore more of the mountain. We will divide these groups on the mountain so students are skiing with others of similar speed and terrain preference.

Freestyle (Advanced / Expert)

To sign up for these lesson skiers must be able to link parallel turns consistently on most blue terrain. These lessons take place on small and medium features depending on ability and focus on breaking down the fundamentals of approach, takeoff, maneuver and landing so students can progress towards more difficult maneuvers and features. Lessons will incorporate smart style safety information for all participants. We will divide these groups on the mountain so students are skiing with others of similar speed and terrain preference.
