MARCH 23 IS THE LAST DAY OF NORDIC CENTER OPERATIONS.
Our Nordic Center is open Saturdays
and Sundays offering 15 kilometers of groomed and set track through beautiful
wooded trails and meadows. We have both skating and traditional striding
lanes, but there is no snow shoeing at the Nordic Center. The Nordic Center
is located at the Hood River Meadows parking lot, 1 mile north of the
main entrance to Meadows on highway 35.
The Nordic Center is a modular building at the east end of the Hood
River Meadows parking lot (not the Hood River Meadows lodge – skier
services building found near the bottom of the Hood River Express). The
Nordic Center is where you purchase your track fee, as well as rent equipment
or arrange for cross country lessons.
