Make the Most of Your Meadows Experience

Whether it's for a Day, a Night, a Weekend or the Entire Season!

Mt. Hood Meadows is located just 67 miles east of Portland on the east side of Mt. Hood, within a two hour drive of Portland International Airport. This section will help you find the easiest and most affordable way to get to Mt. Hood Meadows from Portland or from Hood River. Meadows is one of the most conveniently accessible ski resorts to a major metropolitan city in the country!

Mom - we know you do the advance work in scoping out the best activities and adventures for your family. We have a family activity planning page devoted to you to assist in making your trip to Meadows an awesome experience everyone will remember.

Use our Micro-Map page to find a bus pick up location from throughout the Portland Metro Area. Make sure to select the "Buses" tab at the top of the page.

Mt. Hood Meadows parking lots require ODOT Sno-Park permits, which can be purchased at the resort. These permits raise money so the Oregon Department of Transportation can plow the Sno-Parks, many in remote areas to provide wonderful back country experiences.

Most rental car services at Portland International Airport rent four wheel drive vehicles which is helpful considering the changing weather conditions on Mt. Hood.

In addition to direct service from every major city in the U.S., Portland has direct flights from Mexico, Europe and Japan, making PDX a major international airport.
