Grease Bus
The Grease Bus is Portland’s first shuttle service to Mt. Hood Meadows that utilizes waste fryer grease. Greasebus partners with Portland restaurants in an effort to reduce our environmental impact by recycling their leftover vegetable oil into fuel. Tickets are $10 per person for a roundtrip seat. NEW: HOOD RIVER PICK-UP
They've started their Hood River service with a pick-up and drop-off at Windance, a snowboard shop located at 108 Hwy 35. When you sign up, just specify that you want to be picked up in HR rather than Portland. The Grease Bus goes through the Windance parking lot around 9am each morning when people from Hood River are on the list, and then drop off about 5pm.
