  • General Comments: Good morning! Today may be Thursday, but we're inviting you up for a flavor-filled Mt. Hood sundae: sprinkles on top of soft-serve snowpack. It's a bit bland on the tongue, but it has great flavor under your warm-waxed ride! This unusual dish, served on rainy days, consists of a bit of spice - park and a fresh-cut pipe. Tough folks who'll ski in any weather add the saltiness. You may find rainy days a bit sour or bitter, but those tastes can be enjoyed with practice, much like beer. Sprinkles on corn is not something you'd try in the kitchen, but when snow's involved, it's fast, soft, carveable and fun. And sweet: the droplets ensure there's no competition for fresh groom! Skiing in the rain - it's ethereal and savoury: umami for the soul. Want a different dish? Saturday is Mazotfest. Race for our avalanche dogs! Kick it up a notch with our steeps clinic, and free your mind (and your heels) at Sunday's Tele clinic. But that's Sunday. Come get a Thursday sundae today, and we'll see you again on the weekend!
  • Road Conditions: Wet roads. Carry chains or traction tires, slow down and drive carefully. Check Tripcheck for updates. Studded tire removal deadline was 3/31.
