"Shift Tickets / Open Close / Peak Pricing / Direct to Lift Scanning"

What are they and how do they work?

"Shift" Tickets Because we have night operations, a shift ticket would be the equivalent of a day pass at other ski areas that don't offer night skiing. A shift runs from 9 AM - 4 PM. On days that we have night operations we also have "shifts" which run from 11 AM - 7 PM, and from 1 PM - closing and a "night" ticket which goes from 3 PM to 9 pm. Shift tickets can be upgraded to Open to Close tickets.

"Open to Close" Tickets As the name implies an Open to Close ticket is good from the time you arrival until the time the lifts close that day. All of our junior, child and senior lift tickets are Open to Close, as well as the off-site tickets that you can purchase (such as our online tickets or Costco Ticket).

Peak Pricing Lift ticket prices are adjusted on peak days - weekends from opening through March 7, plus Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, midweek days the week before and after Christmas, MLK Monday and President's Monday.

What's "Direct to Lift" Scanning All About?
Our lift tickets and season passes feature bar codes and our friendly lift attendents use scanners to verify you have the correct pass to access our lifts. You can assist us in the scanning process:

  • Have your lift ticket or pass out and present to the attendant.
  • Attach single day tickets to your belt loop, or if you're going to wear your jacket all day, to a lower pocket. This is a handy place for scanning.
  • Attach your season pass in the same locations, or if you're wearing it on a lanyard, pull it out prior to getting to the front of the line and present it to the ticket attendent.
  • Don't place your season pass in a plastic pouch - that interferes with the scanning and can lead to misreads.
