Nordic Center - Cross-Country Skiing

Normal Hours of Operation: Thursdays-Mondays from 9 AM - 4 PM through February. Operations will then continue from Thursday-Sunday until April 1st.

Mt. Hood Meadows Nordic Season Pass is only $80, and includes Cooper Spur Nordic Center track privileges!

Our Nordic Center offers up to 15 kilometers of groomed and set track through beautiful wooded trails and meadows. We have both skating and traditional striding lanes, but there is no snow shoeing at the Nordic Center. The Nordic Center is located at the Hood River Meadows parking lot, 1 mile north of the main entrance to Meadows on Highway 35.

The Nordic Center is a modular building at the east end of the Hood River Meadows parking lot (not the Hood River Meadows lodge – skier services building found near the bottom of the Hood River Express). The Nordic Center is where you purchase your track fee, as well as rent equipment or arrange for cross country lessons.

Mt. Hood Nordic Series

Registration for each race is $10 (with the exception of the Tea Cup Classic). Cross country ski gear is available for rent at the Nordic Center.

December 3 - 5K
January 7 - 10K
January 29 - 15K (Tea Cup Classic)
February 18 - 20k
March 3 - Pursuit (10K skate race + 10k classic race scored together)

Registration begins at 9 AM and each race starts at 11 AM (except for the Tea Cup Classic). Registration for the Tea Cup Classic on race day ends at 9:30 AM and the race starts at 10:30 AM.

Nordic Skate Skiing Clinics with Sam Cordell

Clinics are on December 10th and January 14th, and start at 10 AM. Scheduled for 2 hours and will primarily consist of drills done as a group to improve skate skiing technique, with Sam Cordell, former U.S. Biathalon Team Member. Cost is $25, and clinics will meet at the Nordic Center.
