Mt. Hood Meadows Group Season Pass Deals
MT. HOOD, OR (August 26, 2008) – Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort has announced pricing
on its season passes for the 2008/09 season. The resort will again offer the popular group deals
which allow adult skiers and snowboarders to purchase passes on line at savings of more than
50% off the price of individually priced passes.
The group purchase plan price for adults (age 23 – 64) is $444 each when purchased online in
a group of four. The regular individual adult season pass price is $900. The 3x3 unlimited pass
offer for ages 15 – 22 is $333, compared to the individual season pass price of $600. The 2x2
unlimited pass offer for ages 7 – 14 is $222 each, compared to the individual season pass price
of $400. These prices are good through November 16, 2008 when purchased through the
resort’s web site www.skihood.com. Meadows season pass group deals are the most affordable
season passes on Mt. Hood, offering the greatest value.
The 10 Time Pass group offer returns, allowing a group of 10 or more to purchase the pass for
$330 each, a savings of $69 off the regular price of $399. The group organizer also receives a
free lift ticket for putting the group together, and one FREE 10 Time Pass for every 20
purchased in the group. The 10 Time Pass has been upgraded this season – it will have a
picture on it allowing the passholder to go direct to the lift, instead of having to stop at the ticket
window each day as in the past. The 10 Time Pass is non-transferable.
Meadows gives free season passes to ages six and under whose parent or grandparent
purchases an unlimited season pass. Senior passes for ages 65 and over are priced at $300,
and for just $100 more includes 8 bus trips to the resort on the popular midweek bus program.
The Platinum Pass returns at the same $2000 price as last season. The unlimited season pass
includes season ski check, a season locker and up-front reserved parking space all season
long. This season Nordic track privileges at both Meadows and Cooper Spur Nordic Centers
and a Cooper Spur season lift and tube pass have been added.
Meadows is holding the price on its off-peak lift ticket price at $54 to encourage more midweek
and low-season business. On peak days $15 is added to the lift ticket (weekends and holiday
time frames from opening through the first weekend of March). The night ticket price of $25 is
the same as last season (good 3 PM – close).
