Mt. Hood Meadows New Year’s Eve Celebration
MT. HOOD, OR (December 2008 Release) –Mt. Hood Meadows will Brrring in the New Year Wednesday evening with a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring fireworks, a feast and a party.
A fireworks celebration launches at 10:15 PM – the brilliant phosphorescence reflecting off of the snow provides an added dimension to the spectacular display. Party goers can dance to the music of “DESIGNBAND” from 8:30 PM – 12:15 AM, enjoying party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. An elaborate dinner buffet will be served earlier in the evening. Reservations are required for the dinner buffet and the party, but not for night skiing or enjoying the fireworks.
New Year’s Eve busses will run from Portland, picking up at three TRIMET locations to make shuttling to the mountain New Year’s Eve convenient. The buses leave Portland around 3 PM and depart from the mountain at 12:30 AM.
