2nd annual Pond Skim at Mt. Hood Meadows presented by Kona Brewing and All About Hawaii Travel.

1ST PLACE - JIMMY MALCARNE "Magnum PI"
Jimmy built a cardboard Ferrari which he "drove" successfully across the pond to win the round trip for two to Hawaii, courtesy All About Hawaii Travel and Embassy Suites!

2ND PLACE - JEN WINKLEPLECK "Brittney Spears"
Jen dressed like Brittney, complete with baby (doll) duct taped on and held a steering wheel in her two runs across the pond and won a $500 Kona mountain bike!

COMPETITION RULES

Scoring:

All participants will receive one attempt to cross the pond successfully. All participants who successfully skim the length of the pond during the First Round will advance to a Second Round "Skim-Off" to determine a winner. Second and third place winners will be determined by distance traveled during the Second Round. Should multiple participants skim the pond during the Second Round, the winner will be determined by skimming style AND Hawaiian costume.

All competitors must be 21 or over. Contestants I.D.s will be checked at registration.

Registration and check in: 8:30–10 a.m. day of event

Prizes for Best Splash / Best impression made by a women contestant / Best costume and of course the grand prize of a round trip vacation for two to Hawaii!

Note: If the weather forecast for April 26 is nasty, the event may be postponed to April 27.
