Group Rates and Activities

Groups Activities
15 or more receive special pricing!

Come to the mountain and let us show your group a funtastic time! Meadows hosts group activities and functions all season long - from on the snow fun time to in the lodge meeting time.

Groups as few as 15 people receive discounts on lift tickets, lessons and equipment rentals at Mt. Hood Meadows. Any member of a qualified group receives these discounts, in other words, all 15 people receive a discounted lift ticket, but even if only one person needs equipment rentals or coaching, he’ll still get the group discount rate. There's special pricing for your first timers to receive our introductory learn to ski or snowboard package. Group day tickets are good from open to close and include ski check. Night lift tickets are good from 3 PM to close and include ski check.

A day on the mountain provides excellent social and team building opportunities. Get some business done in our meeting rooms, have a catered meal function, then head out on the slope to learn to snowboard together. We can also set up a race course or challenge course on the slope for your group.

Meadows also presents wonderful catered events - from small brainstorming sessions to extravagent wedding receptions. The slopeside ambience and inspirational view of Mt. Hood provides a magnificent setting, even if you aren't participating in any on-snow activities.

Organizing a Group Outing
Creating a successful group trip to Meadows
You'll have a great day on the mountain with some advance planning and letting our group representatives assist you.
  1. Select Trip Date - Determine details (ie dates, times, packages available, prices, transportation and marketing support). Plan ahead - at least 2 weeks in advance, longer if possible to give you the best opportunity to create a successful group outing.
  2. Call the Portland Sales Office (PSO) and ask for a group representative to help you in your initial planning.
  3. Publicize Your Trip - All posters, emails and meeting agendas should include dates, prices, contact person/phone number, transportation, pick-up/drop-off points and times, meeting times and deadlines. Please confirm that all published prices are correct.
  4. Forms - Every group needs documentation. Contact your MHM Representative for the correct forms. All forms must be signed by parent or legal guardian if participant is under 18 years old.
  5. Sign-up Meeting or Event - Make it a party! Supply each participant with a One-Day Enrollment. Hand out Rental Forms to those who need to rent equipment.
  6. Reserve Transportation - Contact your MHM Representative and we can help you reserve motorcoach or bus transportation. Remember to reserve early.
  7. Collect Payment in Advance - Set a deadline when all fees and One-Day Enrollments are due. Please set a time frame in advance to avoid delays.
  8. Ticket in Advance - Contact your MHM Representative to set a ticketing appointment at our Portland Sales Office. Always treat tickets as cash, because you are financially responsible for them.
  9. Verify & Confirm - If ordering a bus through Meadows, please verify your reservation two to three days prior to scheduled trip date. Confirm pick-up/drop-off times and locations.
  10. At the Mountain
    1. Stop by the Group Services Desk (lower level of the South Lodge) if you have any additions or corrections to your group ticketing. You can also drop off your One-Day Enrollments in an envelope for the Medical Clinic, labeled clearly with the date, group leader’s name and group’s name.
    2. Gather the group at the Rental Shop. Organize everyone so they have completed Rental Forms in hand and are lined up to receive rental equipment. Introduce yourself to the staff at the Group Services desk.
    3. Determine the designated lesson meeting times for anyone in your group that is taking lessons, so they show up at the ski school meeting place 15 minutes prior to the start of the lesso to meet their instructor.
