Meadows is seeking a very organized, professional, motivated leader for the position of Terrain Park Hand Crew Manager. Duties include hiring and training of Hand Crew staff, opening, closing and overseeing daytime maintenance of all Meadows parks and pipes, participating in the design process of park layout and features, and coordinating with related departments and organizations during special events in our terrain venues. Very strong communication and organizational skills, excellent leadership ability, flexibility, and ability to work cohesively with all related Mt. Hood Meadows departments are necessities. We are seeking a professional, motivated person to join our Accounting Team as an Accounting Assistant (seasonal, full time). This is an excellent opportunity to work in the accounting profession with skiing and snowboarding just outside your office door - this is not your normal accounting office job! Mt Hood Meadows is seeking an energetic, organized, outgoing individual for the position of Lift Operations Dispatcher. Duties will include monitoring radio and telephone communications, maintaining a daily operational log, coordinating routine maintenance and emergency situations with multiple departments, as well as general clerical duties. The ideal candidate will be driven, able to multi-task effectively, meet deadlines, and be familiar with Microsoft Office. Radio experience preferred. This is a full time seasonal position beginning in early November. Meet, greet and ticket one time and multi-week groups as they arrive at the ski resort. You'll work closely with group organizers as they come to you to ticket the add on and walk on members of their groups. Position is at the ski resort but reports directly to Sales Manager, and works closely the Guest Services staff. Position will interact with all members of the sales and marketing staff, as well as key mountain staff. Candidate must have a good understanding of youth programs, midweek programs and how they work. Prior experience with seasonal hospitality or recreation programs is a plus. Good time management and organizational skills are necessary to balance the needs of the Group organizers and the Sales Office. Position requires excellent guest service and phone skills. Strong conflict resolution skills are desired. Prospecting is a key element of this position and the candidate will require experience and skills in the various phases of prospecting to uncover new opportunities. Position requires work at the ski area both on weekdays, weekend days and some evenings. Occasionally the position will require working at the CSO. Duties will include (but not be limited to) driving employee and guest transportation vehicles to, from, and around Mt. Hood meadows. The ideal candidate will be extremely dependable, responsible, and have experience driving school busses and shuttle vehicles in less than ideal weather conditions including wind, rain, fog, snow, and ice. Mt Hood Meadows is seeking an energetic, outgoing individual for the position of Parking Lot Attendant. Duties will include (but not be limited to) coordinating the parking and re-directing of cars in the Main, Annex, and HRM lots, Sno-Park Pass sales, and assisting guests with vehicle issues such as dead batteries and lost keys. The ideal candidate will be reliable, honest, customer service driven, able to work well as part of a team, an effective multi-tasker, and a good communicator. This is a part-time seasonal position.
