Mt. Hood Meadows has purchased two new Pisten Bully snowcats to enhance its state-of-the-art grooming fleet, one of the most advanced in the Northwest. The Pisten Bully 400s are scheduled to arrive next week and will be used for both general all mountain grooming as well as specialized terrain feature construction and maintenance of Meadows Parks.

The Newschoolers.com Park Poll has rated Mt. Hood Meadows terrain parks among the best in the North America. The Park Poll results were announced Friday and Meadows Parks were rated 7th in North America.

Mt. Hood Meadows purchased two new Pisten Bully snowcats this fall to bolster it’s already sizable fleet (16 groomers / 20 snowcats total). Both are from the PB 400 series that features Tier 4 diesel engines that comply with EPA mandated emission control specifications. Pisten Bully is a true innovator and has actually improved performance and power of these Tier 4 machines while reducing emissions.

MT. HOOD, Ore. – Mar. 30, 2016 – Significant snowfall and base depths of 10 to 20 feet are propelling Mt. Hood Meadows into an extended Spring season scheduled to go through mid-May, and have allowed the resort to return its annual Spring Park to Vista, making it one of the longest flow parks in the country.

On the first sunny day since it was constructed in partnership with Snow Park Technologies, the Cascade Spring Park opened to rave reviews by freestylers. Under blue skies and for the most part calm winds, the action was on the Park's jump section.
Mt. Hood Meadows will be ready for Spring Break with lift operations scheduled from 9 AM - 4 PM daily. And as Spring is arriving, the weather is turning wintery, with snow forecast for the first weekend of Oregon Spring Break. The resort’s extensive snow harvesting program has fortified the base area snowpack, providing access to the high speed quads serving the upper mountain.
MT. HOOD, Ore. – March 15, 2015 – Mt. Hood Meadows has teamed up with renowned terrain park builders, Snow Park Technologies (SPT) to create a new Spring Park, scheduled to open for Oregon spring break starting March 21!
Sammy C will appear at Mt. Hood Meadows Saturday to take some park laps and meet guests.
Meadows reaffirms the resort will be open daily for President's Weekend AND continue operations through the season.
Mt. Hood Meadows is enjoying some relatively mild weather compared to traditional Januarys, and according to resort officials, guests are enjoying it. Nicknamed “Juneuary” mountain enthusiasts should prepare themselves with sun screen and sun glasses for some spring like hero snow this week.
Mt. Hood Meadows has added a new feature to the Shipyard Rail Park - a rope tow that allows freestylers to take continuous laps in the park without having to hike or take a longer chairlift ride. The park has been extremely popular this season and currently has eight rail features for jibbing. The rope tow will make the park more popular and fun, says resort spokesman Dave Tragethon.

MT. HOOD, OREGON (Immediately) – Mt. Hood Meadows is part of the most anticipated traveling snowboard event series of the year: the 2015 Burton Mountain Festival Presented by MINI, an eight-stop, on-snow community snowboarding festival for riders of all ages, and the 2nd Annual Party In Your Park snowboard contest series, a 17-stop, grassroots tour celebrating the fun in contest snowboarding. The event series stop will be January 2 - 4 with the Party In Your Park contest on Saturday, January 3. All events are completely free and open to the public.
Mt. Hood Meadows will offer another preview day Sunday, with Buttercup AND EASY RIDER plus a rail park offered from 11 - 4. An early season storm brought lots of moisture to Mt. Hood, with temperatures dropping enough to accumulate 5 inches of new snow this morning. The resort has a base of 13 inches and will harvest parking lot snow to supplemental the preview the day.

With a foot of new snow and the mighty efforts of our mountain grooming crew, Meadows will present a season preview event this weekend. There’ll be a Pre-season Jib Party both days for your first chance to ride rails this season, and the Buttercup lift will run from 11 - 4 Saturday and Sunday.
