Burton announces the 2016 Burton Mountain Festival, an on-snow demo tour offering an elevated snowboarding experience at eight resorts around the country. This year’s Burton Mountain Festival offers FREE Burton Snowboards hardgood demos, Anon. helmet and goggle demos, a Riglet Park for kids, an interactive sponsor village and more.
Every winter, the Burton Mountain Festival offers the most extensive snowboard demo experience in North America and gives riders of all ages the chance to try out Burton’s latest 2016 boards, boots and bindings all for FREE. This is the chance to demo new snowboarding hardgoods all weekend long from knowledgeable product experts who can give recommendations and answer riders’ tech questions. The demo is free, but a credit card and identification, release form are required, and those under 18 need a parental or guardian signature to demo.
Join the Burton Girls to demo the latest gear, take laps with fellow female riders, and après the afternoon away. Meet at the Burton demo tent at 10 AM on Saturday January 2, 2016.
10 AM: Meet at the Burton demo tent at Burton Mountain Festival-Mt. Hood Meadows. A complimentary Après Breakfast will be offered at the Burton Girls Tent as well as a complimentary hardgoods demo. There will be a Instagram photo contest for attendees with grand prize for the best photo.
11 AM to 1 PM: Group ride session.
At all stops, Burton warmly welcomes the ladies to the Burton Girls demo tent to talk one-on-one with female staff and find the perfect custom hardgoods package. This is the ideal opportunity to learn more about women’s-specific products, made for women by women, and then try it all out for FREE.
There’s also something for the whole family at the Burton Mountain Festival, including FREE youth demos and learn to ride opportunities. That means even the smallest kids can expect to find Burton snowboards, boots and bindings, as well as the revolutionary Riglet Reel, a specially designed reel attached to the nose of youth snowboards that makes learning to ride easier than ever. Kids as young as three-years-old will have the opportunity to experience snowboarding for the first time in the one-and-only Riglet Park as well as try out the boxes, ramps and rails with certified snowboard instructors on hand.
Not to be missed is the exciting home base area with free product samples, interactive games and photo opportunities at the Hawaiian-themed Paul Mitchell dome. Also be sure to stop by the Clif Bar & Company booth for a sample of one of their great-tasting energy bars. And finally, Burton will be running a softgoods giveaway for the first 100 people to demo a full hardgoods setup.
