SOLVE and the snowrider Project have joined together for a litter clean up day at Mt. Hood Meadows. The event is an extension of the “Love your Columbia Day” - for those thinking ahead. Headwaters that is. Mt. Hood is a significant water shed for the Columbia River basin and while our trail crew and team have been doing mountain clean up all summer long, it's a big mountain! We could use your support in this equally big endeavor.
Join us for a couple hours to seek out those tiny pieces and tossed recyclables we haven't yet collected in our year round litter collections. In gratitude, Meadows is offering collectors a scenic chair ride on Stadium that day (lift operates from 11 AM to 3 PM)," from the SOLVE website. Participants must register in advance through the SOLVE website http://www.solveoregon.org/get-involved/events/love-your-columbia-day-mt-hood-meadows
Meet on the deck and make sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, sun screen, gloves and garbage grabbers if you have them!
