Columbia Center for the Arts celebrates the coming of winter in the Gorge with The Snow Show in November 2014. Sponsored by Mt Hood Meadows, the show presents how diverse regional artists express their feelings about the winter season. The show runs November 7-30, and the First Friday show premiere and celebration is November 7, 6-8pm. Festival.
The Snow Show opening on Friday, November 7 is the same night as the opening of the Center’s Mount Hood Independent Film Festival. It’s a great evening to see old friends, celebrate the arts, buy local works for holiday presents and visit the Columbia Center for the Arts.
In addition to snow images in photography, pastel, watercolor and oils, the show features work in fabric, glass, wood and all the indoor arts that offer warmth and color to offset the cold outdoors.
