Merry Christmas Meadows to open Two More High Speed Quads

Mt. Hood Meadows is scheduling Mt. Hood Express and Shooting Star to operate on Christmas Day. That will open up much more terrain on the upper mountain and bring the total number of lifts scheduled to five, plus the Ballroom Carpet conveyer.

The resort is reporting a 19 inch snow depth in the base area and nearly 3 feet higher up on the mountain. Guests should expect early season conditions, and be aware of unmarked obstacles. It is currently snowing at Meadows, with more snow forecast today. An adult lift ticket from 9 AM - 4 PM is $69.

Meadows Parks offerings will include a Jib Park on Buttercup, the Zoo and Fireweed.

Meadows is open daily for the season - with lifts scheduled from 9 AM - 4 PM daily, including Christmas Day. Evaluation continues regarding conditions for possible night operations.

PARK & RIDE SHUTTLE FROM PORTLAND RUNS DAILY December 26 – January 4.
The shuttle picks up at three convenient metro-area locations. Bus seats must be purchased in advance through the resort website www.skihood.com.

NORDIC CENTER OPEN DAILY 9 AM – 4 PM through January 5, but the terrain is limited. As we receive more snow we will add trails until we reach all 15 KM.
