We have been season pass holders for several years. My wife and I get to ski on Tuesdays sometimes which is great because there are no crowds! I cannot remember any experience with your employees that was unfriendly. Most of the time, even getting on the lift your attendants are outwardly friendly and helpful. I try to thank them each time we ride. Hopefully, they don't get sick of that.
The mountain is a great asset to operate, but your people are your greatest asset. Thank you, and thank them.

Bill Johnson - the first American to win Olympic Gold in alpine skiing, passed away Thursday. He trained at Meadows in the 70s as a member of the Sandy High School ski team.
January is national ski area safety month and while safety is something we focus on every day of the season, we’re celebrating this Saturday with our Safety Fair.
To celebrate learn a snow sports month, we want to offer you the chance to nominate a couple to learn to ski or snowboard. It can be any two people (age 13 and older) who can take their first time ski or snowboard lesson together.
- Meadows Surpasses One Hundred Inch Snow Depth at the Base Area and 174 inches at Mid-ountain
- Super Snowy El Nino delivers twenty inches in last 24 hours
- 254” of snow so far this season (eclipsing last year’s 195” total season snowfall)
- Mid-mountain snow depth now deeper than the length of a food truck
Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort was already one of the top ten snowiest ski areas in North America - before this latest storm dropped twenty inches of snow in the last 24 hours. Meadows has now received 254 inches of snow this season - surpassing last year’s 195 inches total season snowfall. Meadows averages 430 inches each season, which should be easily reached if the Super El Nino continues to deliver the snow.
I came out to your Rotary night on 1/18/16, and I want to praise the Ballroom Carpet attendant Danby! For the four hours that I was there (trying to get a hang of snowboarding) he was perfect! He patiently taught everybody how to board the carpet, helped them, encouraged them, praised them. He was the highlight of my evening. Thank you!
Another winter storm is dropping snow on Mt. Hood in time for the MLK winter holiday. Mt. Hood Meadows has a snow depth of seven feet in the base area (double the depth this time last season) and nearly twelve feet at mid-mountain. With such great coverage the ski area will be operating all lifts with the entire mountain open (weather permitting) from 9 AM - 9 PM each day. Meadows is ready for a great holiday!

The last time I tried snowboarding I didn’t have a lesson, I was silently disappointed in myself that I didn’t give it a true shot. I knew one day I would tackle snowboarding again, but next time with the right mindset. That time came last week when I had the chance to work with Mt. Hood Meadows to learn how to snowboard.
Hockey fans are going to want to hit the slopes for Portland Winterhawks weekend at Mt. Hood Meadows.
Mt. Hood Meadows joined 160 other ski areas today to establish a new Guinness world record for the most amount of people taking a ski and snowboard lesson.
