Meadows Commemorates NSAA Safety Month with a Safety Fair Saturday

Categories: Safety Guest Connection Media Center

January is national ski area safety month and while safety is something we focus on every day of the season, we’re celebrating this Saturday with our Safety Fair.

It all starts with the responsibility code - if you could pick one rule to abide be it would be “Stay in Control”. That pretty much sums it up - if we keep our riding on the slopes in control, if we keep our minds alert and our emotions in control and if we are aware of the changing conditions, environment and settings around us, your chances of having a fun and safe day on the slopes almost guaranteed.

Safety month and our Safety Fair gives us the chance to reflect on how the rules of the responsibility code, and additional mountain knowledge can add to the enjoyment of recreating outdoors in the winter. Meadows has dedicated an entire section of our website to safety, and we also have many blog entries your can review in the Safety Category.
