The 10th Annual Full Sail Banked Slalom was run Saturday with more than 100 competitors pre-registered, perfect spring weather and a new venue - the Tunnel of Love - a gully that made for the perfect Banked Slalom course. Competitors loved the new course which used the natural sides of the channel to create the banked nature of the course and providing greater length. Competitors agreed the course was more technical and challenging, but a lot more fun than past courses made from snow cat created berms.

To our competitors:
We thank you for your patience in the time it took making our times official. In an effort to accommodate the most amount of riders for the event, we allowed day of registration to replace drop outs. Those changes were not reflected in our original score sheets. So while we are confident in the times associated with the bib numbers, we needed to make sure that the competitors were assigned to the correct category, to determine the order of finish within each category.
We rushed the results to the awards ceremony without going through the normal verification we take to match the results with our registration. Our intention was to get the awards ceremony underway as quickly as possible, as we know you had been waiting for it. But we needed to stop the awards when we noticed there were numbers in the wrong category, that would affect the results, particularly the prize money. We're sorry for the delay, but we know you understand that was the right thing to do.
Thank you for all your positive comments about the course and the efforts our parks and race crews made to create an incredible course in the Tunnel of Love, and for managing so many competitors on a very long and technical course. We hope the awards ceremony problem doesn't take away from what a truly awesome event this was, and what a spectacular day we had Saturday.
We also thank our long-time partner Full Sail Brewing for their support of this event these ten years and we've already making plans on how we can grow the 11th annual event bigger to include more competitors.
Thank you for making it a great event!
