Hood Meadows has announced a new housing program that will reward local homeowners and landlords providing rental spaces to Meadows team members. “Turns 4 Tenants” (T4T) is a community based program that aims to help connect staff members with available rentals in the community by providing the landlord or homeowner a season pass or 10 day tickets, whichever they choose.

The entire inventory of adult alpine rental skis will be brand new this season, as the Mt .Hood Meadows Rental Center has purchased 600 pair of Rossignol RTL skis.

Mt. Hood Meadows is offering a new service this year to those purchasing their rental equipment online in advance. With a 24 hour advance online purchase, the rental center will pre-tech the equipment, pull the skis or snowboard, put the guests name on it and attach any lift ticket or lesson vouchers ordered.

The Meadows Rental Center boot fitters will have super powers this season, able to move two thousand pounds - literally a TON of boots - with just two fingers. And that will also move the rental center lines more quickly on busy days.

NW 17th will be grooving First Thursday October 6 with local Slabtown artists performing at the Slabtown Block Party. Recording artist, songwriter and performer LuluBeatz and her crew will perform original hip hop songs with DJ Oso Fresh to get the party rocking. The Brothers Jam will keep the party going until the sun goes down with their rootsy rock and deep rhythmic grooves. Both acts are rooted right in Slabtown.

Day skiers at Mt. Hood Meadows will have the convenience of starting when they want and getting full value from their lift ticket thanks to a new pricing program offered this season. Meadows will no longer base pricing on set time shifts and instead will allow ticket purchasers to start their day when they are ready.
