Day skiers at Mt. Hood Meadows will have the convenience of starting when they want and getting full value from their lift ticket thanks to a new pricing program offered this season. Meadows will no longer base pricing on set time shifts and instead will allow ticket purchasers to start their day when they are ready. The adult 7 hour ticket will be $79 ($77 if purchased online in advance or $75 when renewing a day pass online.) There will also be a 4 hour ticket available beginning at noon for $64 ($62 online or $60 when renewing a day pass online.)
Meadows Chief Operating Officer Jake Bolland says the new system offers greater flexibility and benefits to guests. “The ticket is initiated with the first scan of the day on the first chairlift ride giving a guest a full seven hours to enjoy their time on the mountain. That provides great value and flexibility for our guests. It will also alleviate congestion on busier days as guests will no longer feel compelled to arrive at 9 AM and leave at 4 PM. In the past all those tickets ending right at 4 PM led to everyone departing at the same time. We feel this new system will spread out arrival and departure times easing overall traffic tension.”
While other Oregon ski area lift ticket prices have soared to over $90, Meadows has kept the price of a day on the mountain much more reasonable. Bolland says the combination of Meadows legendary terrain and guest experience commitment provides a tremendous value, saying, “Our team is dedicated to providing life enriching experiences for our guests and it’s important that this experience remains affordable. We encourage our guests to make their purchase online and keep their lift ticket media to reload return visits. This offers not only greater savings but direct to lift access bypassing ticket windows and maximizing the TSOM - Time Spent on Mountain.”

Beginners can chose from a ticket that offers the Ballroom Carpet Fun Zone for just $10 or the Carpet and the Buttercup Beginner Lift for $44. For those that have advanced beyond the beginner lifts, Meadows offers a Progression Ticket for $64 - valid on the Buttercup, Easy Rider, Daisy and Vista Express lifts and the Ballroom Carpet.
