Mt. Hood Meadows has announced a new housing program that will reward local homeowners and landlords providing rental spaces to Meadows team members. “Turns 4 Tenants” (T4T) is a community based program that aims to help connect staff members with available rentals in the community by providing the landlord or homeowner a season pass or 10 day tickets, whichever they choose. The housing must first be listed with Meadows in order to be eligible for the incentive.
V.P. of Human Resources Matt Troskey says the Turns 4 Tenants program is one of many initiatives the company is taking to improve the working experience at Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur Mt. Resort. “We value our team members and have prioritized improving the overall workplace experience for them. That in turn creates an improved experience for our guests. We designed the T4T program to address one of the primary challenges seasonal workers face in their job search – finding a place to live for the 5-6 months of their season. Homeowners and landlords, who agree to list with us will receive our gift of outdoor recreation with a pass or lift tickets to Meadows. We hope this will support our team while building and strengthening ties to our surrounding communities.”
The homeowner or landlord must first apply to the T4T housing program prior to filling vacancies. Agreements made with tenants prior to signing up with the program are not eligible. The application provides all the steps necessary to qualify.
