Heather Dreams

This has been a remarkable weather pattern this week. Cold temperatures with mostly clear skies and very little winds have allowed our avalanche control work to proceed and upper mountain prep to be conducted and concluded early each day. With little or no winds to speak of the chairs have been left on Cascade overnight virtually assuring a 9 AM launch. And that means early access into Heather Canyon - which has been opened from A-Zone on down and all the way to the outer rope line the last two days.

Enjoy the video by Pierce Hodges playing in Heather Canyon, as well as the other February snow days we've enjoyed!

Friday may have some weather that could affect operations (80% chance of snow flurries with 2 - 3 inches possible through the day). Then clearing by Friday evening for a near perfect Saturday.

And we’ll see you on the mountain soon!
