Spring Brew Fest tops weekend events heading into Spring Break at Mt. Hood Meadows

Even with snow in this week’s forecast, Meadows has turned the knob to Spring and the celebration formally kicks off this Saturday with the annual Spring Brew Fest. A dozen of the Northwest’s favorite micro brewers will be serving up seasonals and favorites from noon to 4 PM on the Sun Deck. The “bad” weather option (meaning if it is snowing) is to bring it into the Vertical restaurant offering a full mountain view through the two story high, floor to ceiling, wall-to-wall glass window.

Keegan Smith and the Fam will be laying down some funky fun music and we have awesome raffles and giveaways. Admission is $14 which includes a keepsake Meadows Brewfest mug and 4 drink tickets good for 4oz of beer. Additional drink tickets can be purchased for $1. Join us for a fun filled afternoon (ages 21 and older).

Full Sail, Everybody's, Backwoods, Pfriem, Ninkasi, Slopeswell Cider, Double Mountain, Widmer, 10 Barrel, Laurelwood Brewing, HUB and Breakside will be served. Mt. Hood Winery will be providing delicious local wines for those non-beer drinkers who want to join the party.

Also on tap for this weekend are a Rail Jam presented by Rerack (free to participate and to spectate), Give KINDness a try with morning yoga and massage (advance sign up required), KIND snacks, pairings with coffee, hot chocolate and wine pairings, the Town Challenge Final, and the Nordic Center Finale (although the Nordic Center continues Thursday - Monday operations through Sunday, April 2).

We have a Women's Clinic Saturday and a Steeps Clinic Sunday. Our Oregon Spring Break 3 day holiday kids and adult camps run Monday - Wednesday, March 27 - 29. 

Also - our Park and Ride shuttle is scheduled to run daily from March 25 - April 2 from the three weekend pick up locations (Tualatin, Sunset Transit Center and Gateway Transit Center). Purchase seats in advance online.

Mt. Hood Meadows is scheduled to operate daily from 9 AM - 4 PM through April 23; Friday - Sunday April 28 - 30 and Friday and Saturday May 5 - 6. The schedule can change with weather, snow conditions and turn out. The Spring Pass is on sale for $159 (ages 25 - 74) or $99 for ages 7 - 24. It's valid every day the rest of the season.
