While winter rages Spring Pass goes on sale

A late February storm delivers 30 more inches of powder at Mt. Hood MeadowsWith yet another winter storm raging (having already dropped two-and-a-half feet of powder), Mt. Hood Meadows has announced Spring Passes will become valid beginning March 10. The pass was put on sale today for $149 and will provide daily access from March 10 through the remaining 46 days of scheduled operations. The pass will increase in price to $159 (for ages 25 and older) on March 10. A youth version for ages 7 - 24 is $99.

For those that don’t want to wait until March 10, Meadows has discounted the Value Pass to $249, now valid every day every lift for the rest of the season, including access to the awesome powder conditions being delivered by this storm.

Winter rages on delivering over 400 inches so far this season

At the height of the current storm that started Sunday, two feet of snow accumulated in 24 hours, increasing the midmountain depth to 192 inches, with more than 10 feet in the base area. The storm has pushed snowfall accumulated this season over the 400 inch mark for a total of 404 inches. Enjoy the video by Pierce Hodges shot Tuesday.

Rest of season schedule

Meadows continues daily lift operations through April 16, and then will offer Friday, Saturday and Sunday operations through April 30. Lifts are also scheduled Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6, with a season ending party planned for Saturday May 6, the last day of the season. The schedule can change depending on conditions, weather and turnout.

Operational Calendar

Night operations

The current night operational schedule (Wednesday through Sunday evenings) continues through Sunday March 5, and then Meadows will go to three nights a week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) the next two weeks (March 10 - 12 and March 17 - 19). March 19 will be the last night of night operations for the season, but Meadows will continue with the 9 AM - 4 PM daily schedule as mentioned above.
