We had a great turnout at Thursday’s Slabtown Block Party - the weather was ideal and set the vibe for a great event the ran well after the sun set. The Slabtown vendors showcased their businesses, with an emphasis on health, wellness and the arts - a great way to get the mind and body right for the upcoming season.
Meadows Culinary team (Korean Tacos and a delectable pumpkin bisque) and scrumptious fare from Vintners Cellars brought a great taste to the event. The brew fest was perfect featuring micro brew flavors from four of our partner breweries (Double Mountain, Full Sail, Widmer and Everybodys). The entertainment was exceptional with Seda laying down flamenco guitar and Latin songs, and the Brother’s Jam rocking out the evening. Lots of kids received free season passes or lift tickets thanks to the MTP crew.
SO MANY GREAT PRIZES from our brew sponsors, Dakine, the Slabtown merchants, a 50th anniversary limited edition Dakine Backpack, a Value Season Pass and of course - the very first Golden Ticket, won by Tyler Lyon of Portland. Tyler will be one of only 50 people to have a shot at the 50 year season pass being given away at our 50th Anniversary celebration at the ski area January 27.
How can you get a Golden Ticket? Looks like you missed your chance today. There was a message added to the conditions page when the temp hit 50. There was a Golden Ticket up for grabs, but that hot promotion has cooled down. Perhaps wait for another warm sunny day? Or when our midway base reaches 50 inches the first time this season? Or come to Snowvana or Ski Fever?
Keep checking our Golden Ticket page and make sure you join the Meadows Memories Facebook Group to get updates on these Golden Ticket opportunities!
