With a foot of new snow this week, Mt. Hood Meadows will begin night operations this Friday. The resort has been open daily from 9 AM - 4 PM since December 1, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday lifts will operate from 9 AM - 9 PM. Meadows offers 140 acres of night-lighted terrain served by the Mt. Hood Express high speed quad and other lifts.
Meadows regular season night operations are Wednesday through Sunday evenings, plus extra nights during the holidays. In fact, beginning next Wednesday, December 19 the ski area will operate from 9 AM - 9 PM every day through Sunday January 6, except Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day when lifts close at 4 PM. On New Year’s Eve the lifts will run until after midnight to bring in the New Year.
Night riding under the lights offers an ambiance all its own and night tickets are just $39 from 3 PM - 9 PM. A night season pass is just $159.
Meadows Learning Center offers evening ski and snowboard lessons and specializes in beginner lessons for kids and adults at night.
