Taylor Canoles and Jason Roberts receive prestigious leadership awards at Mt. Hood MeadowsThe leadership team of Mt. Hood Meadows assembled this week for the annual awarding of two prestigious leadership awards. The President’s Award was presented to Meadows Department of Transportation Manager Taylor Canoles for the marked improvement in the arrival experience at Mt. Hood Meadows. The resort implemented several initiatives to more efficiently welcome guests on peak days, including the early opening of the Hood River Express and split flow parking into the lots. The initiatives required three separate crews, access road flaggers and a fleet of shuttles to park three lots simultaneously. Taylor was commended for his leadership and he credited his team saying there are a lot of people out there doing a lot of hard work.

Night Manager Jason Roberts received the Franklin G. Drake Leadership Award for his efforts to improve the night experience at Meadows. Roberts was commended by his team mates for his passion for Meadows and taking ownership of night operations.

Meadows President Matthew Drake presented the awards, along with Director of Fleet Operations Jeremy Evans and Director of Resort Operations Chris Kastner.
